Kansas City is the latest best bet on the board for bang for the buck. I have fared well picking good weeks recently for the Tigers, Reds and Rockies, so lets see if we can keep this up. The Royals are 14 – 12 – and 1.5 GB the Tigers heading into play today. At +3500 to win the Fall Classic, there is value there.

Last Weeks best bet on the board that we slated was the Colorado Rockies at +6600. With a strong week, and 5 HRs in the last week plus, Troy Tulowitzki has elevated the Rox to near the top of the NL West.
This week, they jumped all the way to +3500, marking the second time in as many weeks, our best bet almost cut their odd in half. We also said the Yankees were a good play at +1600, and they vaulted up to +1200 again,
The Royals have gone 5 – 5 in their last 10 games, and have receded from +3300 – +3500, however this will be one of my top plays this week. These guys are 14 – 12 now, and haven’t even played to potential.
My #4 and #5 picks for best bets had struggles this week. Texas went from +1600 – +1800, which isn’t a massive fall, and the Reds went from +4000 – +5000. Again, I question the logic of placing these guys so far back.

The time to wager on Detroit to win the World Series was last month when they were +1100. It was another best bet on the board from yours truly. I even sunk a substantial wager down. Now they are the MLB favorite at +600. That odd is not worth it.
On the worst odds on the board, both of the A’s and the Red Sox maintained their same odd last week, and the Giants climbed up from +1600 to +1400.
Those were minor to the precipitous fall I called in the Mariners and the Indians to round out the top 5. Seattle plummeted from +4000 – +6600, and Cleveland bounced from +3500 – +5500 – wallowing in a 6 game losing streak.
My bet on the Detroit Tigers at +1100 last month looks really good now, as they have almost cut their odd in half.
The Angels are creeping too far back up the favorites list, but considering the Rangers injury troubles, it is about a fair odd.
I am also glad I picked up the Giants at +2500 to begin the year.
Chuck Booth’s bid on the Rays looks to break him even as the club may not win 88 games right now, but he will lose out on those favorable World Series Odds with the teams struggles.
Tampa is creeping back up to be one of the best value’s again at +2500. This team always enjoys one hot streak a year, and that will probably ensue when Alex Cobb comes back to the lineup.
If Milwaukee were fully healthy, not breathing down some suspensions, and if Matt Garza was pitching well, I would say they were a great odd at + 1800. The Brew Crew is properly slated at about the 10th ranked team,

The time to wager on St. Louis to win the World Series is right now. The oddsmakers are still putting them ahead of the Brewers to win the World Series, but they are at +1100 and the Brewers are at +1800. If the Red Birds make the playoffs, they have the pedigree to win it all. With Milwaukee having multiple injuries, I wouldn’t be surprised to see St. Louis making up some ground in the Division.
Best Bets on the Board (Value wise)
1. Kansas City +3500
4. Cincinnati +5000
3. Tampa Bay +2500
4. Baltimore +5000
5. St. Louis +1100

Maybe with another solid week I will take them off this list for worst odds given. Saying they are tied with the Yankees with the odd is like given them a 2.5 Games handicap on New York. Just not seeing that yet, and they are many viable Wild Card Options if the AL East is not won by these guys.
Worst odds on the board
1. Boston +1200
2. Cleveland +5500
3. Oakland +1000
4, SF +1400
5. Toronto +3000
